Show the current StationPlaylist title on OnAirScreen
StationPlaylist Studio can control OnAirScreen natively via Now Playing → HTTP request or TCP/UDP. The NOW footer line accepts NOW:TEXT.

What OnAirScreen expects

Optionally the same for the second footer line: NEXT:…. Maximum 500 characters. OnAirScreen does not parse StationPlaylist XML or website HTML/FTP files.
On Windows test with oas_send.exe from the OnAirScreen licence:
oas_send.exe --ip 192.168.23.5 "NOW:Artist - Title"
If OnAirScreen runs on the same PC, use 127.0.0.1.
Recommended path: Now Playing HTTP request
View → Options → Now Playing → Output via HTTP Request (Stream metadata tab in some versions).

Use GET. Studio must URL-encode the query. Firewall: TCP 8010.
Option B — UDP
Same Now Playing page: Output via TCP/UDP.
- Protocol: UDP (not TCP)
- IP: OnAirScreen host (or
127.0.0.1) - Port: 3310
- Template:
NOW:%a - %t(orNOW:%n)
Do not paste an XML MetaRadio template here — OnAirScreen expects the NOW: line, not XML. Firewall: UDP 3310.
Songs only
If the output cannot filter on %z, commercials and jingles land in the footer. Restrict the HTTP/UDP output to songs in the Now Playing options when the version allows it.
Notes
- Replace IPs after 10s and WARN behave as on the other playout howtos (WARN hides NOW/NEXT).
- Website HTML/XML/FTP Now Playing files cannot feed OnAirScreen directly.
