Show the current RadioBOSS title on OnAirScreen

RadioBOSS can control OnAirScreen natively via Nowplaying notifications (HTTP) or a run command. The NOW footer line accepts NOW:TEXT.

Optionally the same for the second footer line: NEXT:…. Maximum 500 characters.

On Windows test with oas_send.exe from the OnAirScreen licence:

oas_send.exe --ip 192.168.23.5 "NOW:Artist - Title"

If OnAirScreen runs on the same PC, use 127.0.0.1.

Settings → Reports → Nowplaying notifications (RadioBOSS manual).

• Enable notifications
• Add a notification for Playing track title
• URL: http://<onairscreen-ip>:8010/?cmd=NOW:%artist - %title
• Encoding: UTF-8

Title format variables on that page include %artist and %title. Confirm next-track tokens in the same list if you also want NEXT:….

RadioBOSS must URL-encode spaces, &, and non-ASCII characters in the query string. Firewall: TCP 8010.

Playlist Add Command or Scheduler run (help: Operation → Scheduling playback → Scheduler commands):

run C:\Path\To\oas_send-noconsole.exe --ip 192.168.23.5 "NOW:%artist - %title"

Use oas_send-noconsole.exe so no console window flashes on air. Same pattern as the community SFK udpsend examples for LED1:ON — for the title, HTTP or oas_send is enough.

• Replace IPs after 10s and WARN behave as on the other playout howtos (WARN hides NOW/NEXT).
• A third-party “RadioBOSS Studio Monitor” is not OnAirScreen.
