Myriad Playout can turn OnAirScreen LED1 (factory label ON AIR) when the Broadcast Radio Hardware Service sees a mixer fader / channel-start / on-air input, by running a Command that HTTP-GETs OnAirScreen.
This is not the current-title howto. Titles: Show the current Myriad Playout title on OnAirScreen.
API reference: OnAirScreen API / UDP / HTTP / MQTT

Myriad: Hardware Service, Remote.HttpGet in Commands, DHD console
| Signal | What it is | Use for LED1? |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware input (fader / channel start / mic live) | Desk tally into Hardware Service | Yes — this is the studio lamp |
| Myriad On Air Control | This PC is the on-air studio / switcher | Only if the lamp should follow studio take-over, not the mic |
DHD Ember+ can also expose Mic Live into Playout (v6.5+); treat that as the mixer signal, not On Air Control. DHD
| Channel | Target (default) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| HTTP | Port 8010 | http://OAS-IP:8010/?cmd=LED1:ON |
| UDP | Port 3310 | LED1:ON |
Same pattern for off: LED1:OFF.
On Windows test with oas_send.exe from the OnAirScreen license:
oas_send.exe --ip 192.168.23.5 "LED1:ON" oas_send.exe --ip 192.168.23.5 "LED1:OFF"
If OnAirScreen runs on the same PC, use 127.0.0.1. Firewall: TCP 8010.
Myriad Commands can call Remote.HttpGet("…") (same mechanism as the BR Encoder howto). Hardware inputs can trigger Favourites / commands.
1. Create two Command media items (Edit, type Command):
LED1 on:
Remote.HttpGet("http://192.168.23.5:8010/?cmd=LED1:ON")
LED1 off:
Remote.HttpGet("http://192.168.23.5:8010/?cmd=LED1:OFF")
Put them on the Media Wall or as Favourites so Hardware Settings can fire them. HttpGet example
2. Settings → Hardware Settings: Hardware Service running, device list refreshed. In the input section, map the mixer line (fader start, channel on, or the input you use for mic live):
Hardware inputs can trigger Favourites and On Air status
Use the input mapping (desk to Myriad), not a Hardware Event in the log (that drives an output on the switcher).
Hardware Service 6 can run a script when a line is triggered (Configuration → device → line → Script). Use that if your version can call the same Command / Favourite from the script, or to add conditions (time of day). The script editor is JavaScript on the service, not the Playout Command language — keep the HTTP GET on the Command item above unless your script host documents an HTTP call. Scripts on hardware line triggers
